Joan is the host of the Locker Room, no doubt, the most authoritative sports talk show in the country. She started out as just a guest, then a regular member of the panel before taking over from Yusuf as the show host. An authority on sports herself, in a male dominated genre, She does not let her soft-spoken self get in the way of her delivery. Catch her every Saturday as she takes on the boys on any subject... definately, one tough mama not to take lightly!

If there was a job you'd rather be doing, what would it be?

When am not on Radio, am busy reading my books so I presume am a student.  

Movies or books?  

I love both books and movies so telling me to choose between the two are like putting me between a rock and a hard place but I love detail so I guess I would have to settle for books.  

Whats the last book you read and/or are reading (or movie you watched):  

The last book I read was a biography of James Hunt who according to the book was the most adventurous Fomular one driver you will ever see anywhere. Unfortunately, hes dead.  

Career or Family?  

I would chose a career over family as long as its something I love to do like sports related career.   

What CD is in your player right now?   

The CD in my player at the moment is a Lionel Richie CD with a selection of some of thebest songs he ever did.  

Movies or soccer?  

Many people consider me a Tomboy just because of my interest I sports. I wonder where its written that only guys should like sport? I don’t actually know whether am a Tomboy or not but from the description of Tomboy,geuss Iam.I love neither Barbie dolls nor Spiderman.

I support Real Madrid but because Arsenal are shown more on TV and they are an irresistible team I usually mention it before Real Madrid. So I guess I support both Arsenal and Real Madrid.Personally I have done some martial arts soothe next time you offend me, I will have to defend myself by attacking you

Be very scared.  

TV program that you will not miss, no matter what:  

I would like to watch a champions League final between arsenal and Real Madrid or Man united. Are u willing to sponsor?(just in case it ever happens)  

Home food or eat out?  

I love to eat at home.  

What's the worst/most rebellious thing you did as a teenager?  

Nothing comes to mind.  

Things I've learned from life:   

I have learnt a lot of things in life but the most important is to be ready for anything at any time. The thing I love most about myself is what I also hate most about myself and that’s the ability to react differently to situations. Many times I react totally different from what’s expected of me.  

Where in this world you most want to visit:    

Jo’ burg.  

You’d never be caught wearing:  

I would never be caught wearing a two piece Bikini.  

Favourite hangout spots?

I don’t have any particular favorite hangout spot but as long as there’s a good soccer match in a place I will hangout there. I don’t really mind a night out with girls or guys as long as we get along and they can pop sport into the kb once in a while.
